Larry Olan Bowen (65) of Demossville, KY passed away on Friday March 13, 2015 at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. Larry was born in Covington KY on August 29, 1949. Larry was a member of the Gardnersville Christian Church, attended the Knoxville Christian Church and also worked at Duke Energy for 42 yrs. He is preceded in death by his Father- Olan Wendell Bowen. Survivors include his Mother- Katherine Caldwell Bowen, His wife Sheila Bowen who he married on July 16, 1983. Daughters- Amanda and Celisa Bowen, Sister- Janet (Kenny) Brownfield , Mother- n-Law- Velma Adams and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Monday March 16, 2015 at the Peoples Funeral Home- Butler. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday also at the funeral home. Larry's final resting place will be in the Broadridge Cemetery in Grant County. Any memorials, if desired are suggested to the Knoxville Christian Church 12 Knoxville Gardnersville Rd.
