<p>Virginia Frances Daum, age 97, passed away on March 17, 2015. Virginia was a longtime resident of Washington Township, most recently resided in Kettering. She was born to Otto and Frances Bucher on October 2, 1917. She graduated from Steele High School and Miami University, Oxford. She was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. Virginia was an avid bridge player and golfer, and has been blessed with many close friends. She was a member of the Centerville Civic Club and a long time member of the Hithergreen Senior Center. Virginia was preceded in death by husband, Fred L. Daum in 2000, and survived by son Tim and daughter-in-law Sue from San Clemente, CA, son Jerry from Dallas, TX, daughter, Susan from Springboro, OH. Also survived by grandchildren Jason, Ami, Sarah, Taylor, Amanda and Emily and five great grandchildren. A private funeral will be held for family. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, aids and volunteers at Hospice of Dayton. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice on Virginia's behalf.</p><p><br></p>
