JANSEN, Ronald Gilbert - Passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving family after a long illness on Sunday, March 29th, 2015 in his 51st year. Ron Jansen of Pembroke, beloved husband to Michaela Jansen. Devoted father to Nicky and Bre. Loving son of Gilbert Jansen and Yvette Fabien-Jansen. Beloved brother to Helen Jansen (Danny), and uncle to Nathalie, Shayla and Shawn. Life-long friend to Perry James Buchwald. He will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Wilma Schmidt and brother-in-law Wolfgang Schmidt of Germany, numerous aunts, uncles and countless friends. As a native of Pembroke, Ron was known for his passion for cars as well as computers. He has touched the lives of many in an extraordinary way. The family would like to thank Dr. MacPherson as well as the ICU staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for the exceptional compassionate care. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Neville Funeral Home 491 Isabella St., Pembroke, ON, K8A 5T8 (613) 732-7481 on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Pembroke on Thursday, April 9th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the St. Joseph’s Food Bank would be appreciated.
