Anna May Weber Obituary

Weber, Anna May, of Bethany Village, Centerville, Ohio went to be with her Lord on May 5, 2015.


She was born March 7, 1914 in Louisville, KY & lived most of her life in the Dayton area. She & her husband of 59 years, the late Arnold Weber, were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dayton & were married there on Christmas Eve in 1934. She leaves two daughters: Nancy (Gary) Merriman of Lake Placid, FL.; Linda (Ronald) Armstrong of Kettering, OH.; two grandchildren, Martha Armstrong-Benjamin (John) & Todd Armstrong, both of Dayton; also four great grand-grandsons and two great-granddaughters, sister-in law, Carolyn Tharp & special niece Pat Dyer. Anna May, at age 101, was the last surviving child of Esther & Alonzo Tharp, her loving parents, who blessed her with 9 siblings… brothers Harry, Donald, Frank, Alonzo Jr., along with sisters Leona, Olive, Faith, Ruby & Hope.


A “Celebration of Life” service will be held at 11:00 AM on May 9th at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 239 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Visitation one hour before the service. A “Praise Service” will be held at Bethany Village on May 11th at 2:00 PM. A private burial service will be held.


In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be sent to “Greenleaf Enhanced Living” (For adults with development disabilities), c/o Graceworks Lutheran Services, 6430 Inner Mission Way, Dayton, OH 45459.
