BENKHE, Esther Marie - Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 in her 102nd year. Esther Marie Benkhe (nee Courneya) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Major Joseph Martin Benkhe, Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. Loving mother of Ted (Gailene) Benkhe, Barbara (Daniel) Manion, Cathy (the late Daniel) Romain and Michael (Cheryl) Benkhe. Dear sister of Jean Fitzgerald and Orval Courneya. Sadly missed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by sister Evelyn Loder, and by brothers Don, Ted, Dominic, Vernon, Wick, Toby, Gerry, George and Frank Courneya. Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes, Pembroke on Monday, August 3rd, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
