GAGNON, René Gérard - Peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side on Monday August 3rd, 2015 in his 63rd year. René Gagnon of Pembroke, beloved husband of Dawn Gagnon (Nee Carswell). Loving father of Carl (Josée) Gagnon, Paul Gagnon (Krysta) and Marc-André (Valérie) Gagnon. Loving stepfather to Dustin Jones (Savannah), Mark Jones, and Melissa Flack (Josh). Dear brother of Gisèle Gagnon, Carmélita Gagnon (the late Michel Trudeau) and Gilles (Carole) Gagnon. Predeceased by his parents Valmore Gagnon and Thérèse Gamelin and by previous marriage to Susan Cliche. Sadly missed by his grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr Rowan, nurse Kim, PSW's Chantelle and Liz and to all the friends who were always a phone call away for all your support. Respecting René's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Pembroke ON on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated.
