Obituary
William J. "Jack" DeVine,, age 87, of Kettering died Friday, July 4 at Hospice of Dayton. He retired from WPAFB in 1982 after 37 years of service. During WWII he served in the US Coast Guard and was a member of the Wright Patterson Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Frances; Daughters, Gail DeVine of Louisville, KY and Lynn DeVine of Reno, NV; Granddaughter, Camille Frances DeVine Carter; sister-in-law Dorothy Cannon of Grove City, OH; Uncle Jack is remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews and his "baby" Tina the Labrador. Friends may call at the Schlientz and Moore Funeral Home, 1632 Wayne Ave. on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until funeral services at Noon with Pastor Robert E. Miller and Chaplain Colonel Paul Cannon officiating. Burial Woodland Cemetery.
