VALIQUETTE, John Willard - After lengthy illness at Marianhill on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 in his 93rd year. Predeceased by just one week by his wife of 68 years, Violet Valiquette (nee Manion). Also predeceased by son Jerry. Survived by son Mike, grandchildren Jeff, Jenn, Greg and Kate and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Francis (Ottawa), Pat (Eganville),Wayne (Deep River), and Kathleen (Ottawa). Respecting John’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a short reception in the church hall. Interment at St Joseph's Cemetery, Esmond. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marianhill Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Marianhill for their loving care.
